Scrumptiously savoury treats
Moored in Leith, Edinburgh, Pea Green Boat is an artisan Scottish bakery, crafting savoury biscuits unlike any other. Having first opened our oven doors in 2011, today Pea Green Boat Cheese Sablés are stocked by fine food retailers such as Fortnum & Mason and savoured by food-lovers across the UK, and beyond.
What are Cheese Sablés?
One must never be afraid to ask the obvious question for fear of looking silly. We feel it would be far sillier to hide one’s curiosity and miss out on life’s wonderful new experiences. So then, what is a sablé? And more specifically, what are Pea Green Boat Cheese Sablés?
Sablé, from the French, refers to a fine and delicate biscuit – of which Pea Green Boat Cheese Sablés are a quintessentially cheesy expression. Made by foodies for foodies, our decadently-moreish luxury cheese biscuits are baked using the finest 24-month-aged Italian parmesan and mature cheddar, for unapologetically indulgent cheese biscuits, in four delicious flavours.
Perfect as an accompaniment to your favourite tipple or served as a delightfully delicious canapé at your next gathering.
Reviews
Now, we’re not ones to gossip of course… but you’ll never guess what we heard these people say about our sablés.
“…made with a belt-and-brace combo of nippy Scottish Cheddar and pricey parmesan, have a deep, long-lasting, positively addictive cheesiness.”
