What wonderful news we have to share. Our cheese sablés have once again been triumphant at the Great Taste Awards, and what’s more, it was their most highly awarded year to date.
The Original Cheese Sablés and our Cumin variety were both awarded a 2-star award. However, our Cheese Sablés with Fennel & Chilli were shining brighter than ever as the judges added an extra star; upgrading last year’s 1-star to a 3-star award in 2019! Here is a little of what the judges had to say:
“The fine cheese and baked notes are very pleasing, the fennel is superb, and the warmth of the chili is well judged…each ingredient has been very well chosen and very well prepared to make these wonderful sablés. Well done.”
This truly has delighted us, pulling off a total of 7 stars in the process, with some perfectly baked sablés.
